Select and measure or weigh ingredients, using English or metric measures and balance scales.
Follow formulas to produce food products to meet customers specified.
Operate or tend machines to mix or blend any of a wide variety of food products.
Read work orders to determine production specifications and information
Dump or pour specified amounts of materials into machinery and equipment.
Record operational and production data on specified forms
Maintain a clean work area

Position: Production Laborer

Description:
• Unload products into containers and onto conveyors for further processing.
• Examine materials, ingredients, or products visually or with hands, in order to ensure conformance to
established standards
• Operate or tend machines to package, seal and metal detect any of a wide variety of food products.
• Read work orders to determine production specifications and information
• Start machines to package ingredients.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• Seal packaging and palletize for shipping
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Mark and label containers, container tags, or products.
• Assist in all aspects of production if needed

Position: Warehouse Supervisor
Department and Salary: Warehouse – – Click to apply
Description:
• Monitor overall warehouse operations to provide services that meet safety, quality, cost, volume, and timeliness criteria
• Plan work schedules of warehouse staff and oversee all inbound and outbound
• Responsible for distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP, SQF, and regulatory requirements
• Manage inbound shipment scheduling to ensure timely and accurate delivery for production needs.
• Manage all warehouse employees to ensure all guidelines are followed. Ensure employees are properly trained and certified to execute their duties
• Oversee inventory of all raw ingredients, packaging supplies, and finished goods
• Ensures proper LOT rotation and including FIFO (first in-first out) and organic product handling and shipping process
• Lead and direct team members to ensure efficient flow of warehouse
• Perform employees evaluations; set goals and objectives
• Serve as a resource to investigate and respond to warehousing and freight related customer complaints.
• Manage staff assignments in response to rapidly changing products on inbound and outbound
• Train and develop team members to take ownership of their responsibilities and process
• Verify all shipments are recorded and verified the accuracy of the shipment against the paperwork for incoming and outgoing shipments
• Use root cause analysis to put in place counter measures to eliminate errors and damage waste
• Set expectations and measure performance of warehouse associates in completing material handling moves, unloading, loading trucks and performing full units picking.
• Develop a culture with a safety first mindset
Requirements:
• Graduation from high school or GED equivalent
• computer skills and over
• 8 years in warehousing
• Forklift Certified
• Strong knowledge of warehouse, inventory, and shipping operations methods and practices
• Ability to read, write and speak English required, bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Problem solving, team building, project execution and ability to multi-task
